Back in the early 70's, one of the local TV stations showed a monster movie double-feature every Saturday night at midnight called "Creature Feature". For some reason, about the time I turned 8, my parents started letting me stay up by myself and watch these. In hindsight, I can't believe they let me do that but I'm sure glad they did. It goes without saying that the movies scared me to death but it was worth every terrified minute. I had GREAT parents.
Of course I loved all the Universal monsters - Frankenstein's monster, the Wolfman, Dracula, the Mummy, the Invisible Man, the Creature From the Black Lagoon. Here are a few of the others that made the biggest impressions on me at the time. They're still some of my favorite movies.
